What do all fairy tale heroes have in common? They’re regular volk, just like you! So get out there, grab two fistfuls of dice, and defeat the big bad wolf, save grandmother, and kiss the frog!

Regular Volk is a pen-and-paper roleplaying game, where players explore the magical world of folklore and fairytales. One player takes on the role of GrandMother (GM), who describes the world, roleplays its inhabitants, and helps to resolve player interactions with the world. The other players take on the roles of Regular Volk, who are cursed folk heroes, strange creatures, and total underdogs.

Fully Illustrated Character Sheet

The character sheet for Regular Volk is a very special piece of equipment. Every player character has the ability to change into a beast form. To denote this change, players simply fold the character sheet along the dotted line. Doing so hides all of the regular volk abilities and reveals the beast form abilities. The general character information and stats in the header remain visible at all times.
