Dear Regular Volk,

I have just released v1.7.4 of the player handbook with an updated design and layout:

• The document is divided into sections with clear title pages for each section, making it easier to flip through the print book.
• The table of contents in the digital PDF is hyperlinked to each section and each heading, making it easier to reference the material in the digital version.
• New and more public domain art has been added in strategic places. Most importantly, I've tried to eliminate drawn illustrations and to choose 19th and early 20th century engravings wherever possible.
• Decorations still remain kind of an afterthought to the design, but this release marks the transition to a fully designed PHB. A fully custom design with hand-drawn illustrations is underway, and this release lays the groundwork.
• Traits/Skills tables have been reorganized for legibility and ease of use.

There have been no additions/changes to the content of the PHB since v1.7.2, so this new release is still backwards compatible, and of course remains compatible with all of the character sheets, both the plain and illustrated versions.
